Job Summary:

The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for implementation and monitoring all functions of human resources within their assigned area within the company. These functions include Recruitment, Compensation Plans, Personnel file reviews, Employee Relations, and Compliance.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a bachelors degree is required, preferably with a focus in industrial/organizational psychology, human resource management, business administration or a related field. Human Resources certification is a plus. A minimum of six (6) years of professional experience is required. At least three (3) years of progressive Human Resources experience is required, preferably in a HR Generalist role. Experience in the Hospice, Home Health, Skilled Nursing or Hospital environment is preferred. Experience managing, planning and implementing projects and business support initiatives is required. Being detail-oriented and an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment is required. Strong interpersonal, relationship management, training/facilitating, coaching and collaboration skills are required, as well as, the ability to influence, shape solutions, negotiate and partner with others. Experience with innovative change efforts, including developing and implementing detailed change management plans is required, as well as, experience driving strategic change to meet changing business needs, and exploring new business models. Computer-literate in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required. Familiar with applicant tracking software is preferred. The position requires up to fifteen percent (15%) of local and some overnight travel. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in employee relations, federal and state employment laws, training and development, and benefits and compensation management. Responsibilities:

Provide Human Resources leadership in support of local business goals, enterprise and HR strategies within the hospice organization and actively support business leaders through Coaching, Talent Management, Recruiting. Organizational Design, Change Management, and Business Partnering. You will play a role within the HR Team in the development of the HR Strategy and definition of employment models and related HR approaches to drive engagement, innovation and productivity. Deploy Human Resources strategy in partnership with local Business leaders and HR Team Leader to drive the achievement of business objectives at the responsible sites. Partner with key Business leaders to support and define the cultural, engagement and organizational change and structuring initiatives and implementation plans. Work directly with client groups to identify key capabilities aligned with business goals and workforce plans, conduct gap analysis, and develop and implement strategies. Provide guidance and coaching to people leaders and employees. Play a consultative role in employee communication initiatives within client groups. Deploy global and standardized HR processes. Support and lead key projects and deliverables as determined by HR Leadership (including Mergers and Acquisition activities). Coaches, counsels and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions. Assists with recruitment tasks as needed (reviews applications, interviews). Performs HR audits for assigned locations. Other duties as assigned.
